Adaptare a piesei de teatru omonime a dramaturgului Bob Glaudini, comedia “Jack Goes Boating” relateaza povestea de iubire, tradare si prietenie dintre doua cupluri de new yorkezi din clasa de mijloc. Jack este un sofer de limuzina taciturn, laconic in exprimare si lipsit de dezinvoltura, care iubeste muzica reggae si are numai doi prieteni apropiati: soferul de limuzina Clyde si sotia acestuia Lucy. Dorind sa il vada pe amicul lor integrat in societate, Clyde si Lucy i-o prezinta pe Connie, o tanara cu un comportament la fel de bizar si stangaci, care lucreaza impreuna cu Lucy la o casa funerara din Brooklyn.
